i hope you know your kind act did not go unnoticed.
i saw you look at your rear view and side mirrors a few times after your first transaction to see if anyone was behind you, and there was: me. i saw you hesitate for a few seconds at the drive thru, contemplating whether or not you should make another transaction or let me go first. how do i know this? i read your eyes when you looked at me in your mirrors. and your following actions confirmed my deduction.
i saw what you did next. you drove away so i could take my turn at the atm, even though you weren’t finished yet. you could’ve made me wait a little longer and i wouldn’t have even minded because you were first in line after all. that’s what lines are for. to wait your turn. and you had every right to make me wait, but you didn’t. instead, you chose to be considerate of the person behind you, so you drove away and around the building and got back in line behind me.
sure, that may have meant nothing to you. for all i know, you may be a naturally evil person who was having an off day today and decided to be nice to someone for once. or you may be like a good number of other very kind, considerate guys out there who always tries to do nice things for other people without expecting anything in return or not expecting anyone to notice. regardless, i noticed. sure it’s not a big deal, but i still wanted to say thank you. it was appreciated.
ps. in the very off chance that you actually read this, sorry if this post creeped you out by my paying attention to you way too much with the whole reading your mind/eyes detail. it’s a habit.
